Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SKUWise application and the getskuwise.com website (collectively, the "Service") provided by SKUWise ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SKUWise is a Shopify application that calculates net profit per SKU by combining your Shopify order data with ad spend from connected Meta and Google ad accounts. The Service is provided on a subscription basis through the Shopify App Store.
2. Eligibility
You must operate an active Shopify store and have authority to install applications on it. You must be at least 18 years old or have your guardian's consent to use the Service.
3. Account and authorization
You authorize SKUWise to access your Shopify store and any ad accounts you connect, using the OAuth scopes described during installation. You may revoke this authorization at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin or disconnecting individual ad accounts within SKUWise.
4. Subscription and billing
SKUWise is offered on monthly subscription plans through the Shopify Billing API. New merchants receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, your selected plan is billed monthly through your Shopify invoice. You may change plans or cancel at any time from within the SKUWise app or your Shopify admin. Refunds are handled at our discretion in accordance with Shopify's billing policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service; (b) use the Service to violate any law or Shopify's terms; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other merchants' data; (d) overload the Service through automated requests beyond normal usage.
6. Accuracy of calculations
SKUWise calculates net profit based on the data made available to us by Shopify, Meta, and Google. Accuracy depends on the completeness and correctness of that data, including cost-per-item entered in Shopify, UTM tagging on ads, and the availability of the source APIs. We make our methodology publicly available and provide tools to inspect attribution decisions, but we do not guarantee any specific accuracy threshold. The Service is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for professional accounting.
7. Intellectual property
SKUWise and all related software, designs, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of your merchant data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service to you.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by Shopify, Meta, Google, or other upstream service providers.
9. Termination
You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKUWise's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
